DESCRIPTION:HistoryHeritage Days is held the third weekend in August going back to 1984. It’s a community celebration by the people\, for the people.Who We Are and How This is PossibleThe organizing committee is made up of local volunteers and made possible only with the continued generous support of our partners\, Basic Needs of South Washington County and the St. Paul Park-Newport Lions Club.  It is funded entirely from sponsorships\, fundraising\, and donations. Mission StatementSt. Paul Park’s Heritage Days festival\, organized entirely by dedicated volunteers and supported through generous donations\, aims to celebrate the spirit of community\, foster local talent\, and create lasting memories for all attendees. We strive to provide a joyful and inclusive experience that brings together neighbors\, friends\, and families\, while showcasing the unique charm and culture of our town. Through our collective efforts\, we hope to inspire a sense of pride and unity\, and to ensure the continued success and growth of our beloved festival for years to come.What is NewLast year\, the change of the main location to Heritage Park\, the inclusion of bands\, a smaller carnival\, inflatables\, food trucks\, outhouse races\, and our partnership with the Lions and Basic Needs contributed to a more family-oriented and successful gathering. For 2025\, based on community feedback and our funding capabilities\, we aim to add a larger carnival\, a new ninja obstacle challenge course\, and an additional band on Friday night. We will continue our beloved traditions\, including the mud volleyball tournament\, parade\, tractor pull\, and the revival of the outhouse races.
